The Nation (Pakistan)

Independent and locally-owned, The Nation is widely regarded as one of the region's most important and influential publications. Internationally, The Nation is the most quoted Pakistani newspaper.

With five editions published daily, The Nation has a professional and highly motivated network of correspondents at home and abroad, and an excellent syndication and wire service network.

Its bold and lively editorials present a wide variety of opinion from some of Pakistan's most prominent and influential figures. Coverage also includes in-depth reports and features on national and international events, politics, the arts, sports and commerce.

The Nation is part of the Nawa-e-Waqt Group, founded by Hamid Nizami the day the Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940 demanding a separate Muslim state in what was then British India.
